Worldwide solar and wind power generation has outpaced electricity demand this year, and for the first time on record, renewable energies combined generated more power than coal, according to a new analysis.

AI composition of an aerial drone photograph of a modern data center complex with adjacent solar farm in rural Virginia, shot during golden hour with warm natural lighting. The data center features plain industrial architecture with large rectangular buildings, minimal windows, and basic security fencing - focusing on the simple, utilitarian design typical of actual facilities. A 100-200 MW solar photovoltaic installation is positioned nearby, showing organized rows of solar panels extending across gently rolling Virginia countryside. The composition shows the data center as the main focal point from a 45-degree angle at approximately 500 feet altitude, captured with a wide-angle lens. Rolling hills with mixed deciduous trees, farmland, and rural Virginia landscape. Well-maintained access roads and proper setbacks between facilities. Keep transmission infrastructure minimal and simple. Photo-realistic quality with vibrant but natural golden hour colors, sharp details, and professional lighting.
