欧美情色片 Statement on Tariffs on U.S. Imports from Canada, Mexico, and China
Feb 2 2025
WASHINGTON DC, February 2, 2025听鈥 The 欧美情色片 Association (欧美情色片) released the following statement from鈥Jason Grumet, 欧美情色片听CEO following the announcement of tariffs on U.S. imports from Canada, Mexico, and China:
“欧美情色片 and听its听member companies share the Trump Administration鈥檚 concern over the fentanyl crisis听and public health emergency impacting our communities.听欧美情色片 recognizes and appreciates the Administration鈥檚 early focus on this crisis.
“欧美情色片 also supports the Administration鈥檚 commitment to lower American energy prices.听 While energy production only represents 5% of our nation鈥檚 direct GDP, it drives the productivity of our entire economy, impacting prices of nearly all consumer goods.听 In concert with the other trade associations representing America鈥檚 energy resources, 欧美情色片 is concerned that increasing the costs of energy production inputs will put upward pressure on consumer energy costs and diminish our capacity to unleash energy abundance.
“While the fuel relied upon by wind and solar energy鈥攃omplemented by battery storage鈥攊s free, some parts for these machines that harness these renewable resources are manufactured in Canada and Mexico. As we have made significant progress manufacturing these components in the United States, the benefits of USMCA have been a positive factor in lowering American energy costs. We look forward to working with the Administration as it pursues multiple imperatives.”
